The Mission
The mission of Sylva Rena Baptist Church is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. We desire to preach the gospel at every given opportunity so that people may hear, believe, call upon Christ in confession and repentance, and be saved.
The Vision
The vision of Sylva Rena Baptist Church is to create a family of authentic believers and to witness a community transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We understand that our vision must include evangelism AND discipleship as we seek to teach believers how to walk in newness of life and to equip them to evangelize and disciple others.
